Gerald Frazier PMHNP

I’m a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and retired firefighter specializing in holistic mental health care. With firsthand experience of the emotional and psychological toll that trauma can take, I focus on helping individuals—especially first responders and veterans—heal from PTSD, depression, and anxiety using a whole-person approach. My practice combines evidence-based psychiatric treatment with integrative therapies that support mind, body, and spirit.

Whether you're struggling with the aftermath of a traumatic event or seeking support for ongoing depression, I offer compassionate, personalized care rooted in empathy, resilience, and real-world experience.

I bring a unique, trauma-informed perspective to my work, combining clinical expertise with real-world experience to support individuals on their healing journey. My approach emphasizes the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—integrating traditional psychiatric care with complementary therapies to promote lasting wellness.

  • A Compassionate, Trauma-Informed Approach: I understand how trauma affects the brain and body—and I provide care that honors your experiences without judgment or pressure.

  • Whole-Person Care: I don’t just treat symptoms—I look at the full picture of your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. This may include integrative strategies like mindfulness, lifestyle changes, and complementary therapies alongside evidence-based psychiatric treatment.

  • Collaborative Treatment Planning: You are the expert in your own life. Together, we’ll develop a care plan that fits your goals, values, and preferences—whether that includes medication, therapy, or alternative healing modalities.

  • Safety and Trust: Having served in high-intensity environments, I know the importance of feeling safe and respected. I work hard to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered.
